Not a good way to start your morning.....
Normally the front entrance of my workplace looks something like this---a beautiful stone lantern surrounded by gardens:
This is what it looked like when I got to work today:
Evidently some people thought it would be fun to spend a Saturday night destroying this and tossing some of it in the pond....
How terrible to go into work and find such vandalism...not a good way to start the week. Hope your day and week get better. Love, Judi

Bummer! Why don't people think before they act?!
I just visited the Arboretum yesterday for the first time with my son (Leo). I don't think we made it all the way over to Japan House, but I thought of you when I saw the sign. (I'm one of your regular local readers--I promise I'm not a stalker!)

Oh my! I remember going to those gardens a few years back during the summer, and just marveling about how beautiful and serene they were, and .... oh my. What is wrong with people, indeed. I DON'T know the answer to this.
