Well....this is what my living room looked like when I got home last night:
I took this to mean that Owen was indeed feeling much better. In fact when he woke me up this morning I muttered, "how do you feel honey?" and he chirped, "Oh, I feel MUCH better, in fact I think I stored up a whole lot of energy."
Glad to hear it but....uh-oh just the same.
So hopefully everybody else will stay healthy. I feel like I could use a week long nap but other than that I can't complain. I've got a bit of the January blahs I guess....hopefully a trip to Birmingham will perk us all up.
I've decided I want to submit my Curried Oven Fried Chicken for the WILL thing but Owen is ADAMENT that it is a family secret and I not share it. He was almost in tears. He graciously allowed that I could submit some of my kale recipes (basically saying who the hell cares about that). Hmmmm.....more discussions to be had I guess.....
Oh, and in other news.....today is anniversary of the day I first met Ernie. It was at an afterhours party in Urbana....after the band Poison Squirrel had played at Mabel's. I had to introduce myself....the jerk...but I love shy boys so it was o.k.
