I'm searching for a great recipe for Greek potatoes....you know the lemony oregano flavored ones? I tried a recipe the other day which sounded wonderful. It called for either gold or red potatoes so we took a couple of handfuls of the beautiful little potatoes we get from our farmer Greg. I tossed them in a vinaigrette with lemon, oregano and garlic and roasted them. Then the recipe called for cooling them completely before crisping them up for 15 minutes and drizzling the rest of the lemon garlic mixture over them.
It sounded great....instead it was....eh.....blah.....
Any recommendations?
In other sad cooking news we used to LAST box of Leo's favorite macaroni and cheese. Yes, the end is here. They stopped making it and although we stockpiled.....it is over. Ernie solemnly photodocumented the event.
