The eternal question: WHY is it you can't sleep all night but when it's time to get up you are in the deepest of sleeps?
And when I did get up, the sky was heavy as hell, and all three males in the house were in foul moods. Bob and Rascal probably were too but they were nowhere to be seen. It was just Hattie and Annie and me trying to stay out of the way. Then to top it off I walked into work totally unaware that I was late for a meeting.
Just one of those mornings.
Hattie adores greens. If we forget to put them away right away...this is what our box looks like....
Speaking of Hattie...she's been acting strangely of late, well, frankly Hattie's always a little odd, but she's taken to sleeping on the toilet seat at night and scratching a lot. I'd tried to check for fleas but couldn't find anyway. Ernie took her in today and sure enough, she has fleas..and an ear infection, probably from scratching so much. So....medication for all four cats, antiobiotics for Hattie and some ointment for the poor girl....$275. I sighed when Ernie told me and said, "We're never going to get a second car, are we?" He said, "I don't know, but we're certainly never getting another CAT."
