I saw my doctor today to follow up on everything that's going on and feel like we made some progress. The big rushes of dizziness and feeling like I'm going to pass out lessened with the reduction in blood pressure medication, but I'm still experiencing lightheadedness and balance problems. My blood pressure was a tad high today but we're going to leave it as is for the time being since the change helped otherwise. We then talked about all the different aspects of what's going on with me...the wobbliness vs the lightheadedness/dizziness, etc. He ran me through some tests, physically moving my head and when he had me lay one way with my head turned I got completely overwhelmed with dizziness. He had me sit up but I had to kinda hang on to him I was so dizzy. Even when I was back in my chair I had to have him stop talking because I couldn't focus on hearing yet. I finally settled down and he said that, given this, it looks like an issue with my inner ear. So I'm getting some medication to help with the dizziness in the meantime, and will work with physical therapy to resolve it. I can NOT begin to tell you how good it feels to know I'm not crazy, I'm not exaggerating, I'm not making this up. I almost felt grateful for getting so dizzy there in the office. He feels like the wobbliness I have is neuropathy is probably from the B12 disorder I have. I'm still basically guzzling B12 with injections every two weeks and daily sublingual tablets. Since he bumped up the B12 I've stopped sleeping 12+ hours a day...so.....progress.
My medical leave is up at the end of this week so I will head back to work in a week. I may not be 100% yet...but feeling like there are some answers....
Cross your fingers folks.
And...I must say, I'm pleased with my window boxes this year. Just ignore the peeling paint and focus on the flowers.
